SunkaraOps
Copyright & IP notice
Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Effective upon publication by Dinesh Gopi Sunkara (sole proprietor trading as SunkaraOps — confirm registered name later)
1. Who owns what
This notice describes how intellectual property is allocated between Dinesh Gopi Sunkara (sole proprietor trading as SunkaraOps — confirm registered name later) (“we”, “us”, “SunkaraOps”) and the client who purchases the SunkaraOps sprint (“you”). It applies to the public website, sales materials, and all work product delivered under the intro offer (audit, prompt library, SOPs, wiring, training, and support).
2. Our pre-existing materials
We retain all right, title, and interest in and to:
- The SunkaraOps name, wordmark, “7” device, slogans, and visual identity.
- Methods, frameworks, checklists, diagnostic questions, sprint plans, and teaching sequences.
- Generic prompt patterns, SOP skeletons, evaluation rubrics, and template libraries that existed before your engagement or that we reuse across clients.
- Recordings, internal notes, and tooling configurations that are not customized to your business, except where we expressly assign them.
Nothing in an engagement transfers ownership of those vendor materials to you. You receive a license, not the factory.
3. Your license to customized deliverables
When your invoice is paid in full and the sprint is delivered, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use, copy, adapt, and internally distribute the customized deliverables created for you, including:
- The written ops audit as applied to your practice.
- Prompt library entries and SOPs written for your named workflows, tools, and roles (typically in Google Docs).
- Loom (or equivalent) training recordings made for your team.
- Free-tier wiring notes, account maps, and checklists configured for your stack.
The license is for your internal business operations and for serving your own clients. It is not a license to resell, white-label, or republish SunkaraOps methods as a competing product, course, or done-for-you service.
4. What you already owned
You retain all rights in your pre-existing content: brand assets, client data, templates, transcripts, CRM records, and anything you provide for the audit. We use that material only to perform the sprint and as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your client work product or your confidential information.
5. Vendor-retained methods and templates
Even where a deliverable is customized, the underlying method stays ours. Examples: how we structure a 7-day sprint, how we score a workflow for “live”, how we write a prompt-evaluation loop, and any starter SOP we adapt. You may keep the adapted document; you may not extract the generic system and sell it as your own ops product.
6. Third-party tools
Workflows may sit on Google Workspace, Notion, email providers, and free-tier model interfaces (for example ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude). Those vendors own their software. Your license to those tools is between you and them. We do not sell or sublicense their products.
7. Restrictions
You agree not to: (a) remove proprietary notices from our templates; (b) present our generic methods as your original methodology in a public course or product; (c) share non-public sprint materials with a competing AI-ops installer; or (d) use our name to imply an ongoing partnership after the engagement ends, except as a factual past-vendor credit.
